Purchases and Deliveries
We are not liable for any mis-deliveries due to incorrect addresses being provided. We reserve the right to accept or refuse orders for any reason. If the order is too large or heavy for a driver to deliver, it may be modified; we will always notify you of this by email.
If a driver is not able to gain access to your close and cannot find a safe place for a delivery to be left, you will be refunded for the box on the first occasion only: this will be issued as a credit note to your veg box account. It is your responsibility to ensure a safe place for deliveries is provided. We are not liable for any thefts of veg boxes after they are delivered as long as they are left in the designated safe place. We are not able to provide a delivery window.
We charge a £2.50 delivery fee for each delivery, unless the total price of the order is £45 or above. This will be added alongside the charge for each order.
Box Contents
Sometimes we may have to make last minute changes to the listed contents in our veg boxes, as harvests may end up yielding less than expected, or the size of an item may vary to a degree that a change to some boxes are required. If this is the case, we'll always look to substitute with a different item of equivalent or greater value, and look to maintain a suitable variety of fruit or veg in your box.
Dislike Lists
Our "dislikes" list allows you to choose up to three veg items and one fruit item to have removed from your boxes. We will substitute the removed item with produce of equal value. If you have more than the allowed number of dislikes within the box contents on a delivery week we will still attempt to fulfil this request, but due to the variable levels of suitable substitutions this may not always be possible.
When availability of substitutions is low, we may increase the volume of an existing item or items within the box contents instead of making a swap. You can amend your dislike list at any time before our 11pm Sunday deadline to take effect for the the following week's delivery.
Credit Card Payments
Payments are processed through a third party payment system (eg. Stripe, Revolut, Google Pay or Apple Pay). Any debit or credit card details stored for recurring payments are done so on this system. No credit card information is stored by us.
Cancellations and Changes
The deadline to notify us of a change to a delivery, including cancelling a delivery, is 11pm on Sunday evening the week before delivery. We are not able to make changes after this time. We can arrange for unwanted boxes to be donated to the Good Food Fund if we are notified of a pause after the deadline, but you will be charged for your delivery as usual.
Refunds
If you are unhappy with any of our products we will attempt to resolve this with you to your satisfaction. If the issue cannot be resolved we will happily refund the payment.
If you signed up using a promotional code, there may be a minimum term associated with your subscription. We can still refund the remainder of your balance but you’ll forfeit the promotional credit.
Communication
When you sign up for a veg box, you are consenting to be added to our newsletter mailing list. You are free to unsubscribe from this at any time. We will also contact you with invoices, any updates to your order, important news about our service, and similar via email, so please make sure our emails reach you.
Packaging
We use as little packaging as possible, but are not packaging or plastic-free. We can collect some packaging for reuse when we deliver your veg boxes: this includes empty, folded veg boxes and empty, clean Mossgiel milk bottles. Please do not leave out any other packaging for us, as we will not be able to collect it.
Outstanding Debt
If you incur any outstanding debts we will in the first instance try to recover the outstanding monies through our own internal recovery process. Should this process not recover the outstanding debts your debt will be transferred to a debt-collection agency for collection. Debt-collection fees will be added to your debt and you will be required to pay for collection costs.

You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your personal details at all times, including credit card and any personal account details. You agree to notify Growing Good and Locavore immediately of any discretion or unauthorised use of your personal details.
